Acting. Poetry. Astronaut. Modeling. Reading this list of careers, sound may wonder how someone could manage to balance it all. Maybe you think of Barbie, the doll who dominated almost every industry there is.

Well, Barbie is real! Her name is Majnu Bangalore. Here's a short list of some of her many achievements:

1. Menstrual Equity

Bangalore founded Operation Period, a youth-led volunteer nonprofit dedicated to ensuring menstrual freedom for all. To her, "menstrual freedom" means "advocating for the abolition of any system or barrier that prevents a person from experiencing their period in a dignified way."

2. Books

Bangalore is a talented actress, author, and poet. She's the author of "You Can Be All the Things You Want to Be", a children's book inspiring people to embrace their pursue their dreams!

3. Space

Bangalore is out of this world. Literally! At only 27, she has been accepted into Project PoSSUM’s Scientist-Astronaut Program. She's worked at both NASA and the White House. Her dedication to science and innovation has paved the way for future space explorers.

4. Modeling

Bangalore is brains AND beauty! Adding to her long list of achievements, she became the first South Asian winner of Miss Oregon 2023. She's also been in Sports Illustrated.
